In a private party sale, if the original owner purchased Enhanced Auto Pilot (EAP), it will transfer to the new owner, correct? If so, can the new owner upgrade EAP to Full Self Driving (FSD) for the upgrade price of $5000, or will the new owner have to pay full retail ($10,000) for FSD?

The more I’ve been reading about ownership experience, the less disappointed I am that Tesla did not fulfill my new Model S Order Agreement.

Not to date. I did not ask for it back but they said they would refund.

I just spoke with someone at Tesla corporate and their guess is that I'd get the next gen Model S at the current price since I have an Order Agreement. I'd be good with that! :cool:

Unless the Model S is further discounted, or the refresh keeps the current price (both doubtful), I think you've done well for yourself! Congrats on the ride!

I didn't wait until after the earnings call because I thought, "what if Tesla announces the next gen Model S with a price increase?" I'd have missed the potential of securing a Model S Long Range Plus for $70k. It's a $100 bet.

Valid point. I had not factored in that Tesla was discounting the Model S over the years.
