Seriously we all want to see a happy end to this ordeal.

Early January build. I was told at delivery that I “did not have heated wipers” but the button showed up with the update so /shrug.

Man what a bummer. I doesn’t get any easier. The anticipation is the worst part.

If it gives anyone of you peace of mind, my 356xxx VIN has AMD. No idea if sequential VINs should be expected to have the same chip but there it is.

If you think getting a Tesla is hard try buying a PlayStation 5. It took me 2 months longer and I had to manage my own opportunities for purchase instead of some quasi-but-not-really-first-come-first-serve order queue.

Yeah that makes sense. My theory was only with regards to how EDDs behave for individual owners (like when does it update before or after entering the window) and not how to figure out how Tesla determines from on high who is worthy to receive a car this week. :)

Is it consistent for folks in the same delivery area? My theory on how the EDD behaves is tied to the “last mile” delivery of the vehicle, since that’s the least predictable.
