    Pyro Fuse Fuss

Just FYI: I called my local service center. The representative had no idea what I was talking about at first but after he went and researched the question came back and told me that Tesla would be reversing the charges for the fuse replacement. He said no one in this SC knew about this change...

    Pyro Fuse Fuss

Did they say that it would be done automatically or do you think we need to individually contact them and request the refund? I paid $295 to have that work done just a week ago.

    FSD Camera upgrade - charge?

They said my car had all of the hardware necessary to run FSD. I (and others) purchased the full self drive feature; we did not purchase the HW3 computer. It is incumbent upon Tesla to make good on their commitment - a working version of FSD. If that requires more expensive hardware than they...

    FSD Camera upgrade - charge?

The bigger picture is paying for FSD and expecting Tesla to deliver on its promises, imo. The whole point of the camera upgrade is that they're necessary for FSD. They do nothing for me otherwise.

    FSD Camera upgrade - charge?

My 2017 MS is in service today for various things and decided to finally do the FSD camera upgrade(I did the AP3.0 upgrade long ago). The service center is now telling me that some cars require a special bracket to support the new cameras and that this is NOT part of what they call the 'prepaid...

    Supercharger - Sugar Land, TX

I stopped by and tried this location out yesterday. Only 8 stalls (I thought there were going to be 12?). I suspect that this is going to be a pretty busy SC site given the number of Teslas in the surrounding area and the easy on/off from Hwy-59.

Texas Supercharger Locations (location speculation, discussion)

I think it's a good thing overall as it will lead to more charging options and (hopefully) a unified standard for North America. I do remember when Tesla said the Supercharger network was never going to be used as a profit center but that was a long time ago, lol. They clearly decided a few...

The beginning of the end of free Supercharging ?

Well, perhaps you're right about the 'want', but you're not about the 'need'. Luckily, the market will kill off ICE vehicles soon enough - even here in Texas.

The beginning of the end of free Supercharging ?

If you don't mind my asking: did they replace the battery with the exact same size pack that you had originally? Was there a choice to buy a larger pack than original?

The beginning of the end of free Supercharging ?

That would be breach of contract if they tried. It was free supercharging for the life of the car when I bought mine.

Supercharger - College Station, TX - Texas Avenue South

I was in CS last weekend and we had to go to this HEB a couple of times. Wasn't in my Model S so didn't charge but did drive by. You were correct about the awkwardness of getting in and out of this location, lol! But that's a minor grievance.

Outstanding! It's been a long road. Thanks so much for your continuous updates on the progress.

To MCU2 or not to MCU2?

Do you think a similar claim would be accepted if your car is no longer in the warranty period?

Thanks for the update, Jwillis! Do you ever get strange looks from others while you're doing this late at night, lol? "Who is that weirdo stalking a transformer?":)
