    Pictures of production Model 3s

Yes, you're 100% correct. They had a regular CA license plate in the back. (Didn't take pics of the VIN/plate - courtesy to the owner). Next time I see one, I'll shoot a few more pics of the outside, and some of the interior.

Howdy, spotted white model 3 charging (ChargePoint charger, level 2) in SF Sutter St garage basement yesterday. White paint color looks nice, even in the harsh artificial light.

Assuming you have a Tesla - S, X, or 3 - what would you want as a second vehicle?

    Y. Not 'why' but model Y would be cool. Wife can get the 3 (she's driving ICE now but we'll convert her over). Muhahahhahahha. "We are the EV owners. Lower your shields and surrender your ICE. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt...

    Chevy Bolt Regen vs Tesla

Hear hear. I'm pissy at GM for their (mis)handling of the ignition fiasco and the fact that for every Bolt they sell, they then can sell a large, lumbering SUV or two (fleet mpg reqs). Whereas for every Tesla it sells it.... provides profit to plow back into selling more powerwalls, solar...

Small Turn signals and no Fog lamps on Model 3

(yawn). No worries. We have good weather here, left arms and open windows.

Visual comparison: Bolt vs. Model 3

Don't forget, the majority wants trucks, not cars. Example: Ford's F-Series pickup remained the bestselling vehicle in America in 2016, with 820,799 trucks sold. That's the equivalent of 93 trucks sold every hour. The Toyota Camry was the bestselling car, despite a 9.5% drop in sales to...

CA Chevy Volt leasee here, 24 months into a 36 mo lease. So far from Chevy, I have received one full page color mailed ad urging me to consider/buy a... Chevy Cruz. Not even another Volt. Nor a Bolt. So is Chevy marketing really serious about keeping their current EV interested customer base...

If it all goes wrong, what will we buy?

Maybe used S or new Leaf. There's gonna be a lot of diff full EV 200 mi+ range cars in a few yrs. No worries. Although that supercharger thing sure is nice to have in a pinch... I imagine. :)

    Hello

Howdy, welcome and congrats on your Tesla, what a great BDay present. There's a ton of info and characters on the board here, always impressed by the honest analysis in most cases. Enjoy!

How much more would you pay for a driver instrument cluster?

Some will hate it. Some will like it. Some won't care. Some can buy a GPS and display speed wherever they position that GPS unit. Agree we can all wait to see the final product. Maybe '....it will be a moo point. You know, a cow's opinion....' (Joey)

Where is the California Supercharger build out?

L2 quantity would help but also the charging rate ...wish other auto companies would step up on the rates. Other EVs/plug ins, still have 3.3 / 3.6 kwh chargers so we end up occupying L2 spots a lot longer than we should/would like to.

Where is the California Supercharger build out?

Like the thought but the case: Tesla w/ 300 mile range, day trips out one-way 160 miles. Charge near home on your way back.... is that "long distance" travel?

    Sucks to be tall

Yes, you do it for rear passenger legroom and to expedite the side & middle person being able to get in and out quickly and safely. Wasn't there at the event but imagine they were doing everything as quickly as possible to get the most ppl into and out of the cars.

Where is the California Supercharger build out?

Numbers don't matter as much as use cases. IF you charge at home and don't take long trips often or (let's be realistic), have another car (ICE, yuck) for long trips then a supercharger isn't going to be impacted by your use case. I know a person who has a 2012 S that has never seen a...
