I will be interested to test this on the drive home, i normally disengage AP when approaching stop signs, how far are you from the sign when you are getting an alert?

Tint made a huge difference for me as did a generic windshield reflective shade. Though the glass roof almost burns my hand when touched after being in the sun (parked or driving) I am thinking that is the next area to address

I live an hour away from the closest SC and they sent a mobile tech when I had an issue so I didnt have to drive the hour each way. For someone who never takes a vehicle to the dealer for service due to all the headaches and overpricing, I am very impressed with Tesla's service department.

I refused delivery on a new order, paint had numerous defects. Dealership was more than willing to apply my deposit to another car and not charge me anything or even give me a hard time about the defective one. They were understanding and appreciated that I had high standards for quality.

I get looks but not in a negative way, people who I work with that I know it's my car dont give me a hard time either. I do not flaunt the car and dont bring it up because I am not that type of guy...
