    $100 Order fee is a fee, and not a deposit?

    I called my delivery location today and she looked it over and accepted my explanation. Said that she would open a case, make a note on my account, and that I should get a check in the mail in 3 weeks or so. Will update when I get a check!

    My paperwork does not have a $100 reduction reflecting the amount I paid at time of order. So they charged me once at order time and again at delivery.

    Yeah except what they did doesn't make any sense. I paid 100 when I ordered the car. My paperwork should either deduct it from the total or show an offset but instead it just shows another 100 fee. There's no credit shown for the 100 I paid.

    The problem here is that you pay 100 for an order fee, and the paperwork they generate also shows a 100 order fee. So that's 200 total, and 100 gets paid up front via credit card. I don't have any problem paying the order fee and I think it makes sense, it helps them filter out non-serious...

    This is encouraging because I just noticed this on my paperwork as well. Going to contact my advisor tomorrow and see if I can get a refund check for the double charged $100.

    I realized in reviewing my paperwork last night that I got overcharged by $100 on my delivery - my revised paperwork after adding a trade in did not include the $100 I put down for the original order. Any advice about who I should call?

    So after calling a few more times I found out that my account was "stuck" per a Tesla rep, due to me using a lender that was not in their system yet. Unblocked, have a vin and delivery set for Saturday 12/21! I'm so hyped I can barely stand it, 7 weeks of waiting! Ordered: 10/31 Vin in source...

    I called early last week and Tesla told me that I should be hearing from my advisor "later this week or monday at the latest". Well it's Monday now and no word, and I no longer have a vin in source. :( Getting pretty antsy!

    Ugh I've had VIN in source since at least 12/5, still no contact. I'm a patient person but really, it's almost 6 weeks since I ordered!

    White ext, black int ordered 10/31 I'm in the great plains. Have heard absolutely nothing from Tesla, but I do now see a vin in the source. Hoping it will be ready before my lease is up on Dec 27!
