I'm in the same position. I'm thinking it's better to forgo half of the tax credit than to having to deal with phantom braking. I had a Model 3 before, but I currently drive an AP1 car, and AP1 is simply rock solid.

Their website certainly makes it sound like it's before destination. Kinda makes you wonder why they didn't abuse it and increase the destination fee to $2,000 or $3,000. I recently ordered a Mercedes and its destination fee was $2,000+.

I think you can loosen those four 4 bolts, and wiggle the the control arm mount enough to line up those 3 bolts. Not ideal, but less hassle than taking the whole thing out.

Did you use it to fill the whole cavity, or just the gap between the panels?
