God intended SN1 to be Midnight Silver. However not likely because it will make the 3 look too elegant and will encroach on the S and X image. My bet is on that trick silver color from the 1st reveal for some real razzle dazzle PR shots.

Can't begin to count how many times I burned my fingers using that kit as a kid. Carbon Fiber is looking better and better assuming they do it well or I can get a quality wrap.

Prius had plastic "aero covers" back in 2006, they are not expensive, can be easily removed, and apparently can improve Cd/range numbers. I am somewhat intrigued by the look of the M3 aero covers especially if they were offered in a matte finish silver grey. However, exposing the base aluminum...

FWIW...I like the dark walnut, vertically oriented trim on the dash of my MB B-class, adds a lush look without glare. The light wood we've seen so far looks pre-sun faded and is almost horizontal which I think might create reflected glare.

...I suppose the wood as shown will make a good base for wrapping in a carbon fiber type material.

The wood shown so far is too light for me and I worry about the glare reflected from it into the driver's eyes.

I hope "Black interior only" includes black headliner as well. I really prefer an ALL black interior for its non-interfering visual noise which I feel distracts from the road and screen view. I also put in my vote for a black carbon (non-shiny) surface instead of the wood.
