Class 3 Tow Hitch For Model S

    1. Yes. I left out the bumper support as well as the additional 'so called' bumper reinforcement that comes with third row bucket seats option. Without the support the plastic bumper cover is a bit mushy in certain places but my kids stood on that many times when getting in and out of the trunk...

Model X Hitch on Model S?

For that reason I was considering a hitch mounted electric winch with remote control so that I could pull my plane in and out of the hangar more easily. Not sure though if the 7 pin hitch connector can supply the amperage needed for the winch. Need to do more research.

2022 X class iii hitch receiver vertical wt limit

I am a bit confused about vertical weight limit. All tow hitches I find has only the tow and tongue weight limit. I thought tongue weight (the force acting vertically downward on the ball) IS the vertical weight. What am I missing?

Model X Hitch on Model S?

This one will fit and I have a brand new one for sale if you are interested. However this is a Class 1 hitch. I used it to get the bolt pattern for the Class 3 (Drawtite 76143 for ModelX) hitch that I modified and installed on my MS.

Class 3 Tow Hitch For Model S

That's great. For tge wiring harness I wanted to but actually didn't end up pulling the 12V+ all the way from the battery‚ instead I tapped into the wire for the power tailgate. Putting inverter in the trunk is probably not a good idea (unless u put a very low powered one)‚ considering the...

    Modes S75D Range Extension Software?

A friend is looking at buying a 2016MS75D with 150K kms and the owner claims a 100% charge gives him 475km (see picture attached). Mine is a 2017MS75D and I have never seen anything higher than 420km even when new and after 4 years and 120K kms I get 375km with a full charge. Unlike this car...

    Is Unlimited Supercharging Speed Limited?

On my 2017 MS75D I don't recall seeing anything above 109kwh charging speed even when I run the battery down below 5%. Does it mean I am throttled?

Class 3 Tow Hitch For Model S

The 4th picture shows the 2 notches behind the cutout for your receiver. Cut as much rubbery material as you can without touching the plastic. The 5th pic shows similar notches but those will be covered up when you reinstall the red light reflectors. Nothing shows from outside. Goodluck with...

    Route planning through mountains

The range is often cut in half during a winter rush hour commute. Is there a way to plan trips with custom (manually entered) range or energy consumption numbers?
