Thoughts on Tesmat camping mattress for Model 3

I purposely quoted the portions of your previous response that happened to be the subject of my follow up questions. I would still be interested in answers to those follow up questions, if you get the chance. But judging by your response above, you may spend more time inventing products than...

Thoughts on Tesmat camping mattress for Model 3

I use the Tesla All-Weather Cargo Mat, so does that mean these wouldn't work as well for me and would slide around? I see that you corrected for this by adding a rigid board under part of the mats; however, in this video (specifically at 0:30 of the video), it seems like each board only has...

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

    1) No, 90 is a bit excessive. But 80mph on the freeway is certainly common. 2) I rarely use my friction brakes, 3) I have the stock 20" wheels and tires that came with the car. 4) Regarding AC/Heat, I leave the climate on about 70 degrees during the summer. I'm usually parking it in a garage (in...

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

I would say "plenty of range for daily use," but definitely not for road trips. Is it manageable? Yes, it is (especially since we have a lot of Superchargers in California). And I'm willing to manage it since I enjoy other aspects of the car, and road trips are a low'ish percentage of my usage.

    Model 3 camping mode?

Interesting--that was the other thing I wondered about. So wherever you choose to "camp" it really does need to be relatively close to a Supercharger or other charging solution.

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

The other way to fix the problem would be to just have a bigger battery. If it had a 100kw battery, then it would be a perfect amount of range at my 324 Wh/mi. My last car was a 911, and it easily got over 300 miles on the highway on a tank of gas regardless of how I drove it. Although, in the...

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

Been a while since I checked in here, and coming up on a year since my original post. As you can see, it's continued to settle slightly. At 14,734 total miles driven, the average has come down to 324 Wh/mi. The range issue is certainly still an annoyance in an otherwise good car. But since my...

    Model 3 camping mode?

Any update on camping mode for the Model 3?

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

I'm up around 6,500 miles now, and it's settled at an average of 335 wh/mi with all driving in Southern California. I kind of like the idea of some of these Unplugged Performane/Efficiency upgrades--if I can improve the handling performance AND the efficiency, that seems like a win/win: How do...

4 months since delivery, still waiting on seat...

Still not fixed. It's been 7 months. It's clear that the sales person completely lied to me to get me to take the car off the lot. This issue is my biggest gripe with Tesla, and it's really inexcusable. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this has really pissed me off. And every...

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

Those seem like pretty good numbers. I'm in Southern California, so my definition of "cold weather" is high 50's to low 60's! I haven't really paid attention closely to the Wh/mi on individual trips, but when I have, I've never seen anything close to 245.

Disappointing Range in P3D. Is this normal?

No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying it is presented more as a real world range, and it's hard to compare to EPA gas mileage estimates because EV Range is infinitely more important in a practical sense versus MPG in a gas car. This is from Tesla's Model 3 homepage: I don't think it's crazy...

4 months since delivery, still waiting on seat...

Hmm.. Well, judging by the feedback, I guess my problem is not super unique. I have been staying on top of them via email. Some guy got assigned to my case, and I email him every few weeks to see if there's an update, but he always just comes up with a long winded way to say "no update." A...

4 months since delivery, still waiting on seat...

Are other people still waiting for Tesla to repair their cars months after taking delivery? Is there a better strategy to get Tesla to fix things? I picked up my car on 9/30/18 and multiple items were damaged upon arrival. I gave Tesla the benefit of the doubt, and took them at their word that...
