A brand-new S60 with AP is $61,200 after referral and fed tax incentives. So this 2014 with 12K miles is hardly a good deal for me (not interested in the extra options) at $56,500.

Tesla site talks about a maximum weight of ~70 lbs. My kids are skinny so I'm more concerned about useful life of the seats (when will they outgrow it?) based on maximum height. Any info available? Any first-hand experiences?

I know OP is talking about Model S, but as an aside, this strategy would backfire on the Model X, if you buy it expecting a basic SUV, because the base model comes configured as a Sedan (5 seats).
