    Roadster PEM failure

@gfs I've seen the problems removing the caps from the boards in the Gruber videos, but I've a lot of experience in soldering. Many thanks for the info!

    Roadster PEM failure

What capacitors are used in the PEMs, anyone has info about V, uF, Dimensions, or a link to a direct replacement type?

Battery Cooling - t min / t max in Service Menu

Yes, thanks guys, I will contact the SC again. As I mentioned, I know that before the battery maintenance this difference was not more than 1C regardless if the AC kicks in or the coolant pump was running for its own. What is also interesting, though Tave=36C and Tmax=40C, the coolant pump...

Battery Cooling - t min / t max in Service Menu

My battery was serviced and got new contactors. After driving home from the SC I plugged the car in for charging and cooling down the battery. In the Service Menu I noticed, there was a difference of 5 to 10 degrees between t min and t max of the bricks. This difference was around 1 degree...

    brake pad service limits?

I've the CT AX6 pads on my Roadster for over one year now with the original stock rotors. I'm wondering why but the original stock rotors never got rusty again, even now when the car is parked for several weeks and the snow is melting, checked it yesterday, no rust, no rust for over one year on...

DMC FW: Battery Under Voltage fault, PEM Vbat different from BSM Vbat warning

A Short Update: After several trips with hard accelerations and approx. 200 km of driving everything seems to work normally, no further error messages. I haven't checked all Logs since I'm taking them, but it seems the ESS Voltage falls below 300 V for the very first time, never saw this before.

DMC FW: Battery Under Voltage fault, PEM Vbat different from BSM Vbat warning

Last weekend my Roadster alerted Fault during acceleration and switched off motor torque, luckily the car kept rolling until I found a way off the street. Several error codes were displayed, SOC were at 63%, (see photo from the log): 1067 - Debug: DMC FW: Battery Under Voltage warning. Torque...

Tesla Roadster PEM Tech Tip Alert

@racevpr Did you also test ceramic insulating pads for the IGBTs? From the net I found the hint, that IXGK120N60B IGBTs are used, which are obsolete today. These IGBTs have an Ucesat of approx. 2.1V. Have you tried other similiar types with lower Ucesat (found some types with approx. 1.2V)...

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

I'm not sure what is going over the air. Didn't know the com module was installed into 2.5 version only. But I never read about this is used for alerting the owner itself. Maybe there's a difference between US and European Roadsters? I read from other (European) Roadster owners, that they were...

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

The different format makes sense, and of course, anything else than a database storing their log data would not be practical. Now I remember one additional thing one technician told me - he has no access to the log files, but he can query data for me if I want to know something specific...

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

@ecarfan and @supersnoop Are you sure you are correct because the info with the montly upload I got from a Tesla technician? And over a year ago a technician checked the logs of my car, they were already uploaded on the US server. The technician also told me, that he cannot get the logs in the...

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

@supersnoop You're wrong. As long as your Roadster is under warranty Tesla takes the logs of your car over the air monthly. That's what the data connection is used for. In my case a Tesla technician told me, the logs are on a server somewhere at Tesla US, so I would need someone who is able to...

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

Thanks BartJ, I already tried this, they said they can't.

    Contact address for Roadster Logs

Does anybody have a contact address of a technician who could be able to send me some Logfiles of my Roadster ? I'm missing the first 5000 km in my Roadsters history. The technicians in Europe say these Logfiles are available on an American server, but they have no access to it.

TSC told me "No more loaner Model S cars for Roadster owners"

Last time when my Roadster was in for repairs, I got a P85 for 5 days, which the SC had to rent itself by a nearby car rent (the SC had no loaners left) - TOP :D - Greetings to Graz!
