I agree. IONs are slightly as or more efficient. MXM4’s are pretty efficient tires though. IONs are rated double the mileage at 50K. If true irl, then much better. They are quieter and more comfortable ride too

My experience as well. Also for 3 and X, they smooth out speed bumps and potholes a lot better. My lower back is thankful

We would drive to San Antonio for direct flight to Monterrey. Twist is there are no direct flights back only connector via Mexico City.

Key is to top off with it >50% ideally >65-70%. For ‘18 X, it’s actually a bit faster as it sustains higher for longer

Debating about safety traveling from Austin to Monterrey and back in M3P in early Dec. How does the safety profile look like these days? Drug cartel activity a concern en route? We would be traveling during the day. Alternatively, we would fly into airport. If so, Is profiling a concern?
