New AutoPilot is horrible after update

Is this only for 3/Y or do they have it for S/X as well?

New AutoPilot is horrible after update

Has anyone else refused to update? I know a few years ago there was a way to freeze your car and opt out of all future updates. Does Tesla still do that if you ask? Before the update hit I capped the car at 1kbps via my router, so when parked at home it will not be able to download the...

San Diego N2ITIVE link install with alignment?

Curious if anyone knows a good shop as well. Looking to get this done on a 19 X

Tesla recalls 2 million vehicles to limit use of Autopilot

I don't think anyone is questioning the usefulness of nags. Current AP will do that, no? This change is about punitively punishing drivers deemed "unsafe" by an already error-prone system in a real world environment, by removing features of their cars that they paid for. Hard pass

Tesla recalls 2 million vehicles to limit use of Autopilot

I'm trying allowing it to stay on wifi, but limiting the speed via router to 2kbps. This way it doesn't fail over to LTE (at least while parked).

LFP Battery Pack for Old Model S Cars

Curious if anyone else has heard anything related to this. Hope my battery lasts many more years but I really hope someone makes the smaller LFP battery. Supercharging would be fast again and the longevity would be quite good.

Supercharger - Quartzsite, AZ - Main Event Lane

Am I reading this right? https://www.aps.com/-/media/APS/APSCOM-PDFs/Utility/Regulatory-and-Legal/Regulatory-Plan-Details-Tariffs/Business/Business-NonResidential-Plans/e34_ExtraLarge.ashx?la=en Tesla pays a demand charge of ~$2k/month/stall and buys power @ 3.7c/kwh? That's an insanely good...

    Supercharger - San Marcos, CA (LIVE 17 Aug 2021, 20 V3 stalls)

I stop at this spot often. Wednesday I stopped by and there was new fencing going up directly on the other side of all of the cabinets. Looks like an expansion is under construction. I kind of wish they would put it somewhere else. Maybe around North City. The traffic getting into this...

    Power Steering falling apart

I explored this, the problem is the belt is likely shredded as well. From my understanding replacing the belt is probably more work than replacing the whole rack.

    Power Steering falling apart

I'm not, nor can anyone be 100% sure my issue was caused by the recall or recall service, but no one can also be 100% sure it was not caused by the recall or recall service - considering the recall was on a bolt that holds the part on. I don't know if the shims were installed as that other...

    Power Steering falling apart

2014 S 85 Power steering failed last week along with warning that steering assist may be reduced. Drove it home and then to SC. The steering would sometimes kick back in for a bit then out. But on the drive to the SC it didn't kick back in at all. SC says it needs a whole new Steering rack...

My S supercharge speed seems to be restricted at ~50KW

Try turning on range mode see if it changes anything. I suspect my battery may have a similar issue with available cooling.

    set of 4 model s 19 OEM wheels + tires + tpms $400

These are original off a 2014 model S. They do have some road rash, not the best shape. The tires are pretty worn. But they do have the TPMS sensors. Located in North San Diego county.
