Has anyone claimed the Alternative Fuel Vehicle refueling property Tax credit?

It may seem like 10, but it was only 3. I decided to be a little less fiscally irresponsible and wait until when I originally planned to trade in my current car (2Q 2014). I may end up with some interesting new features on the MS by then. They've already added the folding mirrors that were...

Has anyone claimed the Alternative Fuel Vehicle refueling property Tax credit?

Here's a lengthy post I did on the subject: Austin Energy EV charging station rebate When you read the law, it says an individual should be able to claim the credit, but the tax form is most definitely limiting it to those that are claiming it as a full or partial business expense.

How about fund raisers for superchargers?

Mr/Ms Atlanta & Mr/Ms Vermont, I see tha YOU can get to the coast with superchargers..... No 4 hour trip turned into 8 for you, eh? With that time multiplication I can't afford to go to the coast for the weekend. I purposefully posted this in the mountain/southwest forum for us central...

How about fund raisers for superchargers?

Ok, sure, we could wait around for Musk to add all the superchargers that we want everywhere. But if every elementary school waited for Michael Dell to give them computers, the Walton family to give them school supplies, or Paul McCartney to give them band instruments the overwhelmingly vast...

How about fund raisers for superchargers?

I've seen reports that a supercharger and its installation costs about $150k. Does anyone think that a fund raiser would ever work to put one in a specific location? Or are the 'there isn't a supercharger where I want one' groups too scattered? I know that I'd contribute to one or two on the...

    TxTag/EZpass

In my current car, I had it under the mirror and it worked most of the time. Every once in a while I would see charges against my account with my plate instead of my tag. So long you have the plate associated with your txtag account, the charge for the plate goes to your txtag account; you...

How long did it take you to get used to one-pedal driving?

I wish it was not just one pedal driving, but also 'no pedal staying stopped'. I think that others have alluded to that in other posts here. I love regenerative braking and I don't like having creep turned on. However, I also don't like having to stand on the brake to keep the car stopped...

    Possible EV tax in Texas

Here is a nice 5th grade reprsentation of how our gas tax is allocated: http://tti.tamu.edu/group/stsc/files/2011/01/GasTax-BROCHURE.pdf Doesn't that look great? You would think from that nice picture that EVs should pony up and submit to that pretty bar chart. Well then there's reality...

    Model S Insurance

Allstste has his kind of coverage. You can have it up until the car is 3yo. You have to pay for the coverage, but its not very expensive.

2nd Row Cup Holders from Tesla

Where do you think that car in the showroom went? I have extra seating for five now.

2nd Row Cup Holders from Tesla

I'd just like to put it in my living room. It's so pretty

2nd Row Cup Holders from Tesla

Call me fiscally irresponsible, but I'd pay at least Tesla's first tier for that (ie $1500).

Anyone have photos of the 19" cyclones on a car?

Has anyone captured a photo of the 19" cyclones on a car in real life yet?

Can you set stop/hold in the Model S?

Exactly - - - Updated - - - Sounds like the exact same thing to me. Where does 'even better' come in to play? Perhaps I'm missing something subtle.
