    Goodbye all; Good riddance Tesla

Sometimes, but he's probably to old and feeble to remember things.

This has nothing to do with politics, but if it makes you happy, twist it however you want.

    Politics - Quarantine Thread

Just wait for the movie. Trump will be starring as Musk. Their personalities, including truth coefficient are a perfect match :)

Droschke - Nice to "see" you again. IMO all these modern cars have overly complex UIs. I find BMW's no more or less complex than Tesla's. BMW probably has more settings and customization available. On the bright side, the verbal command vocabulary is much more extensive and almost everything...

    Goodbye all; Good riddance Tesla

Somewhere in this thread, someone asked me to come back in 6 months and report on how I like my new EV, the BMW iX, after ownings a Model S for 8 years (biding my time until something else I liked came along and had a year or two under its belt). So I,m baaack :) tl;dr - Very pleased with the...

    Colorado DMV registration?

If you get the EV plates in Colorado (no additional charge), you don't need the sticker. BTW, if anyone wants a nice vanity plate, when I sold my Model S in May, I turned in my Colorado GBYEGAS plates, so it should be available. For my new BMW EV, I got EV plates, non-vanity. Had to go to the...

Go Fund Me for EV Charging in SE NM

Has anyone used the L3 charger in Artesia? Reliability? I read some recent reports on plugshare of them cutting off prematurely in recent heat.

Thank you for the kind words, Droschke. Amazing how low mileage your car is! And I thought mine was low at a little under 80K. But then mine was held hostate by the parts dept for about 10 minths of its life :( Also, not sure how you got a 90 in 2/15 and I got an 85(D) in 4/15. replacement...

    Goodbye all; Good riddance Tesla

SoCal Buzz is correct. When the car was running, I had no complaints. OK, that's not true. I had some complaints about firmware updates making functionality worse (in an AP1 car). But the bulk of my problem was service-related, many months of downtime waiting for parts, and roadside...

    Goodbye all; Good riddance Tesla

Two reasons: 1. IMO the Taycan is overpriced for what it is. 2. It's range is woefully inadequate for my needs. From Nov-Apr I drive up to the Colo Rockies to ski (140 mi RT, 5000 ft net elevation gain) every week. Weather can be dicey, needless to say. I want to be able to make the round...

Thanks for your comment. In that case, I won't delete the bookmark for this forum :) I will try to do so. As I wrote upthread, I paid in full. No financing. I was in the finance office to do the paperwork for the registration, etc., and the sales pitch for unwanted extended service, etc.

There's no need to be a moderator wannabe and post a comment like this, either. Not that I need to justify anything to you, but I've been on this forum for 10 years, and the now-defunct forum that was on Tesla's site for longer than that. I made many online friends (and enemies of some of the...

    Goodbye all; Good riddance Tesla

It's been an interesting ride, from loving the car at first, to despising what the company has become. The Tesla was my worst car owndership experience in 40+ years of car ownership. From Rivetgate (the old-times will remember that) in winter 2015/16, disabling the car for 4 months, waiting...
