One point I want to bring up is the KBB value I quoted is for a 2017 Model S 75D, not a 2017 Model S 90D. I am not trying to sell and price the car as if it were a 90D.

@Zhem, I think I misread your question. It is unknown what Tesla would do in the scenario you proposed. Tesla does what it wants to do.

Yes, still available. Battery warranty expires Feb 23, 2025. The HV battery temperature sensor went out @25K miles. Since this sensor is in the battery pack, Tesla replaced the HV battery pack with brand new 90kWh battery Part Number 1014116-00-B under warranty. Tesla did not cap the battery...

My new uncorked 90Kwh battery has shown degradation in the last 2 years. It has gone from 275 miles to 262 miles at 90% charge in the last 2 years. So I would say you are not seeing the degradation due to the corking. Just my opinion based on my sample of one.
