This never worked for me and I tried everything. Taking out the filter was the only way. I’ll eventually get around to ordering the new part but for now the drop in ac filter has been the solution.

So far so good and zero smell. We've had a number of rainy days here in NJ since I did this so it was definitely the hepa for me.

Agreed track mode is noticeably stiffer with much better handling. Are the track pack brakes you are referring to the ones from tesla or Unplugged?

Overall, I really like the car. I had a terrible smell from the Hepa but that's now been resolved. Had many high horsepower cars, M5, E63S, Modified 911 turbo, etc. but the speed of the plaid never gets old! Call it a one trick pony, who cares, it puts a huge smile on my face all the time...

How did you get them to do it for no charge?

That's interesting. I actually had tesla mobile come out and change the cabin filter and clean the evaporator. He basically took a can of ac cleaner and sprayed it up into the housing of where he removed the filter. He then ran the air for 10 minutes until it was dry. Needless to say, it...

Does this include the assembly and the filter? I’ve been having this smell now for a while and it’s so bad my family refuses to get into the car.

Whoa!!! Looks great! I have same tint in 20% sides and rear and thought that was dark! Already got pulled over and ticketed once for tint. I can’t imagine how many times I’d be pulled over with 15 on the sides and rear and 55 on the windshield!
