I’m interested to know where this hold policy is actually written somewhere for customers. It’s not in the order agreement, so it’s really more like a courtesy they’ve extended. They’ve been accommodating, hold requests have gotten out of hand, and now they’re removing the holds.

Did you put your order on hold? How long are you going to wait on #2&3 above? Hoping we know about #1 within the next few weeks...

I just had a chat exchange with Tesla support. My car is 2014. They confirmed it does transfer over - she triple checked. I have the receipt.

I believe this is correct. I just had a chat exchange with Tesla Support and confirmed that both supercharging and the premium connectivity will transfer over to a new owner. Also that the policy changed in 2017 or so as @Qbenjamin mentions.

No, I don't think it got the bump and it's not an upgrade that is available to me. Saves tire wear though...

Probably at least keeps you from spinning wheels or damaging the motors if it knows you're towing. Like a super chill, anti-launch mode...

Without having all the options listed for the first car it's hard to compare 1:1, but for just $2000 more you seem to be getting much more car, PLUS you'll have 2yr pre-owned warranty. Better mileage, pano roof, UHFS, etc. On the face it's a much better deal.

Thanks. Yeah, I've pulled that grill off but there's no spare wire Dug around again, with a flashlight, too. Pulled on any wire I could see on either side -- no spare wire. :(
