Just go to a 3rd party, everyone knows that Tesla up charges like most dealerships

For the owners of 2022 Teslas, I’ve read online with the new battery you can charge to 100% but a friend is insistent to keep it to 80-90% and warns going till 100 could cause degradation. He owns a 2021 M3. Just wanted to hear what everyone else is doing? I’m reading different things online...
