Would this not work while driving? I imagine this would be great during road trips - travelling long distances with A/C and whatnot. The additional mileage gained (depending on the direction travelled) could be something worth mentioning.

I also had this concern. For me, I'd rather just see it in my autopilot view. When passing a bunch of cars, it'd be nice if Teslas looked like Teslas instead of every other car/SUV on screen. I thinking sending messages while driving might be a dangerous idea.

Unless you absolutely need the car by June (and there is no guarantee you'll take delivery by then regardless of color), I'd go with the color you actually want because once you have the car, you won't remember the wait time. Take it from someone who got black and wanted silver.

Don’t feel guilty! That’s just the name of the game. We’ll all get ours soon enough. Especially if others are cancelling.
