OLD MX 6-seat rear center console

Since Tesla won't sell me their new center console for the 6-seater 2nd row, I came up with a solution on my own. Doesn't look as good, and isn't as wide or tall. However, it's easily removable (not bolted down) and reasonably stable. I started with a black Wolf console from Amazon. Amazon.com...

    Sungless holder for MX

And yes, I know I had a typo in the title, but the damn forum won't let me edit or delete that.

    Sungless holder for MX

Finally found a decent clip for sunglasses that works in Model X. (I know you can use the cubby/drawer, but I like having my sunglasses more easily accessible.) A clip called "Croakies" clips right onto the front of the headliner, right at the top of the windshield. Works perfectly. Clip can...

    center console mess

That's not what he's talking about. It's the front console (not the cubby) that's the problem. There is NO separation between the two compartments in the front console. When you close the lid for the rear one, nothing prevents items from sliding forward into the front one. THEN, when you...

    New Battery Tech?

IF true, this could be a game changer. Smartphones that charge in five minutes 'could arrive next year' - BBC News Hopefully Tesla is talking to these people.

    5 or 6 seats?

I fully intended to go with a 5-seater, until I test drove the 7-seater. That center middle-row seat headrest blocks most of your view out the rear view mirror (and I do mean MOST). Forget what someone said about the nifty always-on rear view camera. It has a fish eye lens and doesn't provide an...

Is KBB crazy... or am I?

I had the same problem. However, if you Google "Kelley Blue Book Tesla Model X", one of the links (usually NOT the first one) will be specifically for a KBB Model X screen. Keep in mind, though, that the numbers it gave me were (in my opinion) inaccurate. 2016 Tesla Model X - Kelley Blue Book Mike

Is KBB crazy... or am I?

Thanks for all the info & advice. I know you can't be on the tech edge for very long these days, but always waiting for the "latest" upgrade means you'll wait forever. It would be great to know what's on the horizon to help decide when to jump, but it's hard to find concrete info on planned or...

Is KBB crazy... or am I?

Thinking about upgrading to the P100D with enhanced Autopilot. When I purchased this one in August 2016, Tesla was talking about the upcoming upgrade to full autonomous driving and I assumed it would be an over-the-air upgrade. Discovering that my Tesla did not have the hardware required (and...

THANKS. Just what I was looking for. (These numbers make a lot more sense.)

Is KBB crazy... or am I?

I'm considering selling my Model X P90DL with all the options (yes I know there's a forum for that, but I'm not actually selling it here). I went to Kelly Blue Book, and the "fair market price" they quote (for 6500 miles) is $146k to $151k... THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR IT. Obviously this can't be...

    Any regrets about 22 wheels?

I've replaced my 20" factory rims with 20" TST flat black rims. If anyone is interested in a full set of factory 20" MX rims (no tires or TPMS), I'm in central Illinois. I prefer cash & carry, as the boxes that the new rims came in aren't in the best of shape for shipping the old ones. If I...
