and if not, you can retrofit the rear facing seats! It is about the same price like the factory delivery. Just call Tesla and give the VIN and they can tell you if the retrofit is possible. For most cars it is possible.

Who knows. Maybe it has to do something with the new partnership between Mobileye, Intel and BMW.

How does Teslas crowd-cources mapping-data differ from mobileyes "roadbook"? Could it be the same, because tesla uses mobileyes EQ3 chip.

I asked for a late 2015 model and it is possible to retrofit the rearfacing seats. The costs are little higher than "factory install".

My car was yesterday in Service and firmware got upgraded to 2.9.74...no changes recognised.
