Today a tesla service tech from des moines told a friend that a tesla supercharger will be completed in waterloo in 2 weeks

As much as I'd be interested in that, it's really a viable option. Technically you could but you would lose out on the Tax credit and we would both have to pay sales tax too.

I mainly want to get mine asap so I can sell my model S before it loses value and/or I put a ton of miles on it. Right now I'd be able to sell it for $40k+. In 3-6 months when people have a shorter for a model 3 my car isn't going to look as attractive. Especially when the cheaper configs are...
