I ended up going with. 18s TSTs not this Setup

I keep it 38s but I might try 42s to get a little range back

Just wanted to give an update I love the way these 18s drive , drove all the way around Phoenix 250 ish miles and it drives smooth. Don’t Believe any other mods are needed. Model Y also has excellent ground clearance !

18s make a diff

Just being burned by other tire brands I hold Michelin number 1 and Pirelli number 2 and wiling to pay premium for it

Yes 18s are of course cheaper smaller tire

So far I have driven 1 week on the 18s and I feel pretty happy. The thought of blowing another 5k suspension does not seem worth the cost to us at this time. This level of comfort is good enough for the value. We also have our 20 inch inductions almost brand new for sale in local pick up in AZ

It should also be noted I keep psi at. 38 not 42 just so you can replicate our feeling

I disagree that going from 20s to 18 is a subtle difference. It’s a pretty substantial difference it’s a much softer more comfortable ride. What bothered the crap out of me is on 20s everything we hit bumps everything in the car shakes and now it’s just way more absorbed and minimal shaking...

I have 4 very nice Model Y Induction Wheels for sale. I'm including the tires at no additional cost if you prefer. Taken off a 2023 Model Y received in Feb 2023. The tires and wheels have 2,000 miles on them. So the tires are pretty close to new The black Induction wheels are in very nice...

Okay update I got the 18s!! It’s night and day difference this changed my life for the better. No more plastic shaking no more garage door opener making sounds. It’s how a Model Y was meant to drive. Anyone on the 20s you don’t I know good til you drive the 18s !! Love it !!!!
