    Autosteer: Position in lane

Boatguy - I've thought about that possibility as well and even had my wife verify that the car was indeed on the right side of the lane. I do think there is something up with what the camera sees and hope that Tesla receives enough of these comments to look into it - as we all know, disengaging...

    Autosteer: Position in lane

I've noticed that with autosteer on, my MS tends to hug the right side of the lane rather than stay centered. This is rather nervewracking, especially with a large truck next to me. In these cases I've had to fight the steering a bit while trying not to disengage autosteer. I've also noticed...

    Power savers/range extenders

I agree with Vrrooom that the power saving mode helps with vampire draw, however I haven't heard or read of a good use of Range Mode other than squeaking out a couple of miles when you've cut it too close. Has anyone found a more substantial use of this feature?

    Power savers/range extenders

I've seen a few threads that allude to this question but have not seen any that address it directly: Has anyone observed advantages to either the Power Management/Energy Saving or Range Mode features? I understand what each is intended to do through the descriptions provided in the Manual...

    Deciding on air suspension

I received my Model S in early June. During the test drive, I requested that we go to my house to check out the suspension. The car we were in did not have the air susp., and it bottomed out each time I pulled into the driveway straight regardless of speed. I could take it at an angle to...

Hey Tesla, there is a need for that NEMA 14-30 adapter still!

Keep in mind that if you can locate either a 10-30 or 14-30 from a service center, then you can convert to any plug on the receptacle end. Both adapters will limit the draw to 24 amps which then allows for multiple plug-end options. I do, however, agree that Tesla needs to start making these...

Any Solutions for 30/24 amp charging?

Just as an update to this thread, I was able to purchase a 10-30 adapter from a service center in AZ and have it shipped. I am now able to build a series of extension cords based on either 14-50 or 10-30 adapters on the UMC end with a variety of 50 and 30 amp plug options that will be limited...

Any Solutions for 30/24 amp charging?

I so agree that Tesla itself holds the answer to the simplest and safest alternative: start making the adapters again! It's more than a bit ironic that there's so much concern on Tesla's part regarding regular folks installing a fairly simple wall charging unit, however the absence of the 30...

    Deciding on air suspension

Wow! Talk about a split decision. One question that remains, although mentioned in one of the responses, is the after-warranty costs for maintenance/repairs. Does anyone have an idea what a trip to the service center for air suspension issues will cost on average?

    Deciding on air suspension

I'm trying to decide if the air suspension is worth the cost both upfront and in future repairs should it need attention. I am not considering it for performance purposes. I don't live on a dirt road, nor in an area that has lots of blind hills. I do live in CO where the snow can be a factor...

Any Solutions for 30/24 amp charging?

To add to my own post: Here's one idea I'm kicking around. Given that the problem with needing to reset the limit in the car, I'm wondering if adding a couple of in-line 25 amp fuses to the cord set up would do the trick. They are relatively cheap (~$2/ea), wouldn't blow very often, and would...

Any Solutions for 30/24 amp charging?

Several recent posts and Tesla staff have confirmed that since Tesla is no longer making the 14-30 adapters available, users who have a 30A source are left few safe options including: Spending $500+ on a wall charger set to the 24A cont. load limit and looking for destination chargers instead...
