I was up at Tofte over the weekend and drove by the site a couple times. The Tesla containers are now at the site (I don't see any containers in the pictures posted July 8), so it looks like there's at least a little progress since last weekend.

Oh, praise be! After a long, five year wait (well, I've had my Model S that long), I-94 through North Dakota is finally finished! Oh my gosh, I cannot believe this day has finally arrived!

That makes the Raven Model S very tempting. I had forgotten about the 200 kW charging speed. I thought it was 150 kW.

@lightfoot3b is your picture showing 173 kW in a Model S? You might have sold me on a new Model S. 402 miles range, and if that charging rate is correct, it would be great for road trips. My 2015 S would be limited to 90kW at that (~30%) battery level.

It appears there are no non-Tesla L3 chargers. Earlier in the year, Plugshare showed a future L3 charger there as part of whatever network is going in along I-94, but it looks like that got dropped from the plans. That's too bad for folks who drive non-Tesla EVs.

We could try to change Tesla's mind about I-94. Maybe we should organize a Tweet storm and hammer them about I-94 for some chosen period. Maybe that would get their attention if we can do it in a nice way.
