First day of FSD trial curbed my wheel requiring a tire rebalance. Won’t be buying.

Maybe FSD trial is secretly sponsored by replacement wheel manufacturers?
This is where having such a limited line of cars is hurting them so badly. If they could be cranking out subcompact sedans or crossovers they wouldn’t have to flood the market with model Ys.
Need a second electric car (for the kids) now but probably going to be a Leaf or used i3. Needs to be...
Based on my HPWC cable the car being noticeably warm (body temperature) at 48A, I suspect it isn’t as simple as you say. I don’t need to resistive heat my garage! When I dial it down to 40A it is much less noticeable (there are other posts on this site suggesting this is the efficient sweet spot).
First day of my SFSD free trial and badly curbed a wheel on a left turn. The tire has a ‘flap loose’ on the sidewall now. What is the likelihood of a replacement being necessary?
I strongly suggest Off Road Assist when there is snow on the road. It changes power/regen to 50/50 front/rear, providing much better traction and eliminating fishtailing.
We had a multi-foot snow dump and my MY lost both OEM mudflaps in the resulting mess.
Miraculously, I found both (one was across town).
Now I need to re-attach them but of course the OEM clips are long gone.
Any suggestions?
