The wait is finally over! So excited to have it. The hour and 27 min drive home had me on edge because I didn’t want any rocks to hit or something wacky on Day 1. But things went great!!

Just got the delivery date text, Sept 16th! So long, but I guess I can wait. Trying to figure out how I’m going to get to Cinci on a week day, but I guess I can rent a car or something.

Thanks for the answers guys. I text my SA but he told me to wait for a text to schedule delivery. He said the text would come closer to when the car gets closer? Weird, but ok. Lol. Other thing is he is located in Texas since that’s where I test drove the car. I’m picking up in Cincinnati.

How long did you all wait for the text to schedule delivery after finding out your VIN? I just got my VIN yesterday but I’m so eager to get that text!

Ok I got my vin today and mvpa and all that good stuff. When do I get to pick a delivery date?

Like right before I posted on here. I check the Tesla site multiple times a day. I refreshed the page, but under the car graphic it changed to "Please pay off your remaining balance"

Refreshed my page just now and I have a VIN! Yayyyyy! So excited, havent heard from my SA yet, but SO happy I have progress.

Sameee, I ordered 7/25. I wake up every day anticipating a text from my SA, but never happens haha.

When I saw the Model 3 in person I just loved the way it looked. Ended up getting on Tesla’s site and obsessing with it. Over the past 2 years I’ve worked and got to a comfortable level financially, then 2 months ago I ended up in Grapevine, TX for work and found out there’s a Tesla showroom...

Officially week 5 of waiting haha. At least I’m in the range of my estimated wait time of 5-9 weeks. Any moment now...any moment...

My eyes are going to be mainly looking for gaps and paint issues haha. I hate to say it but i'll probably be one of those people who will look a little while, because I don't want to let my excitement make me turn a blind eye to something I'll regret later.

Thanks for the reply. Definitely going to look around my area for some highly reviewed places whenever I get closer to a delivery date.
