I tried submitting same issue to 2 different service centers, one in SD and one in OC, both quoted me 3k plus to replace. Any specific SC that will honor the warranty on this?

I second draw-tite. I replaced my factory tow with the draw-tite and very satisfied.

get a draw-tite...not that hard to self-install if you have tools, and will get more use of a proper tow hitch than those that stick on trunk.

Definitely recommend 1up rack. Also waiting for a Kuat Pivot V2...sold out everywhere...

Paid 230 for hitch, then installed it myself. Took about 2 hours since my 3 and 4 year old insisted on "helping" me.

I replaced mine with a draw-tite hitch to be safe. So much conflicting info out there I didn't want the stock hitch falling off on the highway. 2 ebikes, 1up rack, well over 120lbs.

You will lose some range just due to the extra weight. It's hard to calculate because I would assume the different road grades you will come across on your trip. I do carry my 50lb ebike on a 35lb bike rack often, and it does "feel" heavier, or more wing drag, when driving since the wheels do...

I just purchased one and it's arriving Monday. I like it because I will be able to store it inside the X all the time and use it as needed. I've also searched before, but this is the only tray that is specially made to store inside the X.

2017 100D X 240mi @ 90% after last update 2019.32.12.7, it doesn't charge all the way to 90 (even though I set it to), stops just short, and I get 234mi.
