    $300 Hitch

Are you using the OEM hitch or 3rd party? Can you get to the minimum insertion point on the 1up rack with a hand’s worth of clearance from the bumper?

WTB: Model 3 18" Aero Wheels (wheels only preferred) - Seattle area

Thanks for the reply. I got a set a couple months ago.

Anyone using the Seasucker Mini Bomber bike rack on their Model 3?

I too have a hitch (EcoHitch, installed by TorkCentral, the manufacturer, as they are local to me) and a 1Up rack. The 1Up is a great rack and I much prefer putting bikes on a hitch rack than on the roof.

M3 Front Plate in Seattle Area

PS. I have owned Porsches over the years here in WA and didn’t put on a front plate. Never stopped or cited. And when I did get a speeding ticket in my Porsche, I didn’t get cited for no front plate then either. My wife has a Porsche now, no front plate, no problems (so far).

M3 Front Plate in Seattle Area

The Bellevue PD twitter said no front plate was a primary offense. I thought it was a secondary offense, meaning they can’t stop you for no front plate and ticket you, but if they stop you for something else, they can ticket you for no front plate. But I see that’s not correct and it’s indeed a...

Is there anything on the Mach-E that you liked BETTER than your Tesla?

That was my reaction too but on closer inspection the map shows an exemption for Tesla in WA.

WTB: Model 3 18" Aero Wheels (wheels only preferred) - Seattle area

PM me if you have a set of 4 18" aero wheels for sale. Prefer wheels only as I want to put winter tires on them (Michelin X-Ice). Prefer new or no dings/nicks. Thanks. I can pick up locally Seattle area.

Torklift Central Stealth EcoHitch for Model 3

I think the hatch cover looks super clean. The EcoHitch one does the job but not as good looking. The OneUp rack is a great rack. The 1 place folds up out of the way but you can still open the trunk. I have add-ons as well as the two place version in addition, for when I want to carry 3-4...

Torklift Central Stealth EcoHitch for Model 3

That hatch cover looks great. Nice work. Are you making any extra we could buy from you? I have the EcoHitch one but yours looks way better. I love single OneUp rack, best rack I've had. I have both the single and the double, plus add-on's. I use the single 90% of the time.

Torklift Central Stealth EcoHitch for Model 3

That new access panel is nice. No, my 2018 doesn't have it.

    Model S ecohitch installer recommendation?

I got mine installed at Torklift Central, the maker of the EcoHitch, in Kent, WA. They did an excellent job and obviously very experienced installing their hitch.

    Portugal

I recently spent a week's vacation in Portugal - a day in Lisbon, 5 days in the Alentejo, and 2 days in Cashcais. I was pleasantly surprised to see some Teslas, 6 in total, 5 Model X's and 1 Model 3. The Model 3 was a the hotel we are at, L'And, which had a row of destination chargers. The...

    Tesla Software 2019.16.3

I too want to be able to turn off EDLA and not have to disable it each time. My reason is that when I have a bike rack on the back of the car, if EDLA is enabled, then I get constant warning messages about lane departure not working. Yes, I understand the rack interferes with the sensors for...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

FWIW, Washington state has the highest per capita ownership of Teslas of any state. And I understand Seattle is the highest per capita city.
