    DFW Model S Deliveries

Sorry to hi-jack, but how does the Suntek PPF look compared to the xpel stealth? I'm looking for a satin finish.. Does SunTek have options? I'm looking to order a Plaid soon, so I'm looking at options here in Allen area..

Wanting to order a Tesla Plaid, will wrap it, but what base color?

What wheels are these? And where did you buy them, could you share the total cost? I like these better than the 21" offering, and slightly less chance of my wife curbing them.. She has a X5 and 20" wheels, which she curbed 3 of them within a month or so of getting the dang thing..

How long do wraps last? I've read only a few years, but the xpel stealth PPF for example lasts much longer?

Wanting to order a Tesla Plaid, will wrap it, but what base color?

Got the go-ahead from the wife to order a Plaid, but she's adamant that she wants it wrapped in satin black after seeing a few that have this color. The interior will be white.. My ultimate question is when wrapping, what all is wrapped? Should I order the black so that everything visible is...

    17kW System = 98.4 kWh Production (5.79kWh/kW of Panels)

Same here.. I can count on my hands how many power outages we've had since living here for 8 years.. There would never be any ROI for me with Powerwalls, and the batteries would go bad before that ever happens.. Power is so cheap here too, it was hard to even justify Solar at a 10yr ROI even...

    17kW System = 98.4 kWh Production (5.79kWh/kW of Panels)

Would you buy it from me when I never use it again? Lol.. We don't get cold and snow here like that, what happened in Feb is unheard of in the last 100yrs in Texas.. I've been here for 8 years now, we've had maybe 1" total of snow the whole time I've been here. I'm from the north, and the...

    17kW System = 98.4 kWh Production (5.79kWh/kW of Panels)

I'm in DFW area, 42 panels I think (don't remember), but it's a 16.2kWp system.. Had my best day the other day, almost hit 100.. Had the system since Aug-20. Also included my lowest ever when we had that terrible winter storm here in Texas in Feb that shutdown the grid.. My Solar did...

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

The green light is solid whenever you're producing energy, it will blink when not.. The blue light is when you're connected to SolarEdge's system.. After changing back to Zigbee, I do see my lights go blue every so often. When I was ethernet as primary they were solid blue at all times. Can't...

PSA for folks getting a new solar install - ask for a map of your panel/optimizer layout

Can confirm this! I disconnected ethernet today and have my inverters set to Zigbee, I get data from both now!

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

I disconnected the gateway box from ethernet today, I lost updates in the Solaredge app.. So that's definitely the path.. Not sure why its still calling home to Solaredge via ethernet though.. I'm curious if I power off the gateway box if it'll switch over.. I don't have 'auto' enabled, so it...

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

I'll keep an eye out for that.. yesterday the lights stayed blue like when on ethernet... Anywho, its more of a curiosity right now.. I don't care how its getting the data now!
  12. B

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

I didn't get a chance to test today, but the blue lights went out and I'm still getting solaredge data... Either way, I'm happy now.. no nagging from tesla and we get to use solaredge info now.. win win..

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

I didn't set it to auto, and yes it's using zigbee because the Tesla app is reporting data again... I could disable the Tesla gateway tomorrow and see if data is still coming to solaredge..
  14. B

Zigbee and ethernet at the same time..

I can see it bringing up and tearing down sessions to Solaredge's system.. So I believe it is using ethernet since it's available.

Maybe it does both now... *shrug*...
