    UK Pricing piss take

I suspect there's a ton of Model Y to shift before the facelift version appears. The UK prices might reduce a bit, but we do also have bank interest rates 0.75% higher than the EU bank rate right now.

    UK Pricing piss take

...apart from offering Model Y at 0.5% on HP & 1.8% on PCP. I reckon that's pretty competitive finance-wise.

New owner here. Got a question…

I suspect the main issue here is doing multiple short journeys. It has been colder these past few days and the car will comfortably use 2kWh or more just warming up the cabin AND the battery. Remember, every time you drive, if the battery is cold (below 10-15 degrees) it will use some energy to...

    Tow bars

Have a look at the inventory listings on Tesla-info.com as that allows you to search for tow pack and it’s generally wider than just auto trader.

    New Navigation Supercharger Prediction

This has been showing for a couple of years at least. I've been in a couple of big storms in France and they've shown up on the Nav well before encountering them. It seems to only do it when its properly windy or stormy though.

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

Presume you had to tick the box which said your car was still in warranty? Also presuming they'll honour it as you'd emailed in before it expired?

You are right - this is listed as an undocumented change at notateslaapp.

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

Can see what this actually covers, the exclusions list seems extensive. Computer modules probably the most likely units to be pricey, or the main screen.

    [UK] 2024.8.x

Presuming you don't have an LFP battery.. With mine, it only offered the one-time question when it was plugged in and I changed the charge limit to over 80%. Has worked for me twice since the update, each time it automatically reverted to 80% after the charge had finished. I guess the only...

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

I'm pretty close to running out soon, 47k and just hit the three year mark. If we do email that address, what happens if we have an issue with the car once the warranty has expired but before any of us have heard anything back? I very much doubt they'll do free repairs on the basis we might buy...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

It is THE update, but mainly because I've had (mostly) dumb Matrix lights fitted for the last three years. The dip beam has been much improved since the end of last year. When I went to France in January, my dipped beam adjusted as I drove out of the Chunnel exit in France. It visibly moved from...

    [UK] 2023.44

It is sort of obvious, but perhaps with RHD your hand obscures the pop-up which you'd see more clearly if you were driving LHD. When you click the left button the wipers wipe, but each time you do this the wiper control screen pop-up also appears for a few seconds with all wiper options and...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

If there are installs in Australia, then there isn’t a RHD issue, therefore delayed rollout here, which has been speculated on SM at least.

    Charging anomalies M3 & Zappi

I've had all sorts of issues with charging my M3 on my mum's Zappi. Ours works fine and we never have an issue (our Zappi is a couple of month's newer), but when I charge at hers I get all sorts of interruptions, charge delayed and failed charges. I've worked around it by reducing the current to...

    Run-away I-PACE, really?

I saw that report and thought its more likely to be driver error. I did wonder if the foot mat moved so that it covered or restricted access to the brake pedal, or was over the throttle and keeping it pressed down. Other thought was cruise control being accidentally engaged or set speed...
