My LR RWD was only $64k minus the $14k rebate, so about $50k. If anything his price seems high.

I don't think there will be a mad rush to put a deposit down on the Y. The only reason I, and I assume many others, lined up was to make sure we received the rebate. For the most part, that's no longer the case.

The really scary part is that pilots spend years training to use these systems. Imagine millions of people who can't even be bothered to read the manual.

I’ve got the same problem. Pretty common apparently.

Depends on the outside temperature. I was parked for a week plugged into 120v at -20c, and the charge dropped about 5-10km per day and then totally stopped charging when it dropped to -24c.

I agree with the second poster. My rx450 is leaps and bounds better than my RWD 3 in snow, both with snow tires. They aren’t even in the same league.

Before buying my 3, I did a lot of research on the impact of cold temps on range. From that research I was expecting about a 40% loss of range, so your results are right in the ballpark. Good to know.

I personally find driving my 3 in snow with winter tires (Michelin X-Ice) marginal at best, I can’t even imagine trying all seasons. As good as the traction control system electronics are, you can’t change physics. You are trying to push a VERY heavy car with just the rear wheels, which doesn’t...

Thanks for the tip, will try this. I also figured no big deal that the Frunk wouldn’t open until I remembered about the washer fluid. Can’t wait for Tesla to fix it.
