It is clear that there is at least some available capacity when charging the 60's to 100%. This is because regenerative braking is still available at 100% charge. IT would be fun to test how many Watt hours you can (regen) pump into your fully charged 60 until it shuts off the regen braking...

ok, so I got mirrored mixed up based on male female connections. The pin numbers are correct. The colors are still different. My power is purple and my ground is orange/black. I have verified functionality in my X. Does work now.

I bought this same connector and the pin numbers are labeled reverse of the standard OBDII connector. Beyond that for mine, the White wire is the power (physical pin position #16) and the yellow/black is the ground (physical pin 4). The casing around the pings label these as 9 & 5...

On a 60D with a 100% charge you get the benefit of regen braking. On the other batteries charged at 100% you do not get regen braking for the first few miles.I could see this kicking in an extra 1 or 2 miles on the rating vs the other batteries.
