It’s a new quarter....

When I picked up mine, the “delivery specialist” seemed put off by the fact that I had the audacity to spend 5 minutes looking over the car I bought sight unseen. They really need to work on customer service. The cost to customer service ratio is way out of wack.

Please keep us updated. I’m curious to know if they’ll disable ludicrous before delivery or if after, what that looks like. Is it a stand-alone software update? How long does it say it will take? Or does the car have to be taken to a service center for them to remove?

You think they’d deliver the car with Ludicrous Mode and then remove it afterwards? How would this be done? By a software update?

I second this. I talked to a sales representative yesterday inquiring on the status of my 3 (configured 4/18, no VIN) and he had no information. I then asked a follow up question regarding an invoice (or lack thereof) for installation of my HPWC by Tesla to which the rep said Tesla has not and...

No fee if change is made prior to VIN assignment.

Order placed 3/31, online, pre-reveal and was invited to configure on 4/18, which I promptly did. MSM, 19” Sport Wheels, PUP, EAP, selected option to evaluate trade in and look at financing through Tesla (though I’ve found credit unions that appear to offer better rates so I may go that route.)

I don’t think you’ll have much luck trying to negotiate a test drive with Tesla. I’d recommend using Turo; I rented a Model 3 in late February here in Arizona for three days, Friday through Sunday, to get a feel for how the vehicle handles rush hour traffic on Friday and how it handles on short...
