Thanks for all the responses. I wasn't questioning the skill or value, not having a reference point for cost I simply had no idea if $1,100 was about right. Now that I have some points of reference it makes the decision much easier. Appreciate all the feedback.

On my BMW X5 it does. Holds it in place until I either hit the brake or gas. Only had my MX for a week so haven't tried it out yet.

I've had my Model X for a little over a week now and it's ready for a bath. I live in the Peninsula and take my X5 to the Auto Pride car wash in Belmont but am wondering if there is a better solution for my MX. Curious as to what others do in this area to keep their Tesla's shiny? Thanks!

Got my Tesla complete email this morning and my DS confirmed it will be ready for pick up this Friday. So my timeline was 7/18 Order 7/25 Confirmed 9/2 Entered production 9/5 Production Complete 9/9 Delivery (at least that's the current plan)
