Each time I drive my new Y, I check is the dashcam on, and while dash is on, I have to press "on honk" each time I start a new drive. Is this what is supposed to happen? If the dash cam is not working on honk, how do you remember to save footage if an accident happens?

Each time I turn the car on, the dash cam on honk mode is turned off, and I turn it on again. But then it turns off again the next drive, and I have to turn it on each time I start a drive. Why does this happen?

When we first received our Tesla Y two weeks ago, we had the same issue. It did get better after a week, we aren't really having the issue anymore. We noticed it at the time of delivery and SA said it is due to the seals needing to be loosened up.
