    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2014

Can't tell if this is the ultimate "be greedy when others are fearful" trade, or an obvious stay away because many TMC members are playing it safe.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2014

Ha, I had the same idea and ended up buying some puts around 209,50 for a little day trade only to watch it absolutely rip seconds later. Oh well.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2014

Seems like the news regarding China seems to be hitting the mainstream. I was wondering why the stock wasn't up earlier with the news about them wanting to build cars in China, I guess those few hours is the time advantage we as "insiders" seem to have on the rest of the market.

Elon used to own a McLaren F1!? Yeah I think its fair to say he "gets" cars!

Well I've decided to use those profits to buy deep OTM calls, and if I get lucky with those, I then buy more shares! It is my way of cleansing the filth and potentially turning it into something valuable that will benefit us all!

Social Chat - Short Term TSLA Movements

I had bought some weekly puts near the top today and sold them for a nice little gain a few minutes later. Of course if I had held them a little longer I would have nearly quadrupled my money. Something about betting against Tesla though causes me to get all antsy and uncomfortable even if it's...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2014

That's why I am intrigued by such the lackluster price action. The selloff after the fires and some profit taking after such a huge run to 265 was understanable, but this is starting to seem a little unwarranted. We are now in oversold territory though, and some good news is potentially just...

So with the new v5.9 update allowing the low suspension setting again, maybe some good news from our favorite government agency is near!?

Will TSLA hit $280 by end of March?

Only if we get a juicy piece of news. I am guessing short interest is once again at or near ATHs, which gives us plenty of fuel for a 20% move. That being said, I am not really betting on it. I may pick up some LEAPS soon as I do think we will see 280+ in the coming months, but short term I...

Social Chat - Short Term TSLA Movements

I'm actually hoping we dip into the 220s tomorrow. I think a lot of shorts have that as their target and will start covering, and there are a lot of buyers patiently waiting there as well. So by going lower I think that could actually help it then go much higher! With Tesla in the headlines, it...

Will TSLA hit $280 by end of March?

I actually think the fires have become a non-issue and would be surprised if the next one had anything more then a marginal effect on the stock. Maybe I am giving Wall Street to much credit, but I think anybody with even the slightest common sense would understand that no vehicle is safe from...

Will TSLA hit $280 by end of March?

Well we still have 17 trading days to find out. Seems like an eternity now in TSLA time. I would be shocked if we managed to stay relatively flat for that period of time. Barring no fire like incidents, I see no reason for any prolonged dips either.

Short term vs. Long term investing

I'm in! Absolutely brilliant idea! I vote the winner gets a t-shirt.

Ukrainian-Russian situation: impact to the market

If we see any significant sell off I will be buying big time. These type of events always rebound nicely ( Syria, debt ceiling, etc ).

Ukrainian-Russian situation: impact to the market

I see the market having one or two "oh no the sky is falling!' type days, then recover by the end of the week. Tesla seems to either overreact or be relatively unfazed with these types of events. I think in this case the latter would be true, but maybe due to the recent run up it would be more...
