    Auto-Pilot Minimum Speed?

This just happened, so I haven't gone through and reviewed all of the details for the latest update which was downloaded yesterday. I'll review it today, but thought someone may have a quick reply. I was driving down a local two lane road and wanted to try out of the auto-pilot. The road has...

    Summon Parking Experiences?

I had an odd experience with my Model S backing up in my driveway. There were cars parked on the right side of the driveway and a retaining wall, which has a graduating height from 4 inches at the street to about 2 feet at the garage. The summon park feature works well here in concept as I...

Summon in and out of garage on an angle with 7.1

I had an odd experience with my Model S backing up in my driveway. There were cars parked on the right side of the driveway and a retaining wall, which has a graduating height from 4 inches at the street to about 2 feet at the garage. The summon park feature works well here in concept as I...

New to the forum - have i ordered to right car?

First, it looks like you covered more than enough bases for an excellent Model S. Enjoy the experience! I do agree with another post made, regarding the 21" tires. They look good, however at a price. The ride with 21's is harder than that of the 19's. The wear factor also is not as good as with...

Am I going to regret leaving off the air suspension option?

No, no need to feel at all disappointed. I owned a Model S with it and now own a Model S without it and as far as normal driving goes, I have not noticed any difference. I may of felt differently if I had to drive a lot over various high bumps in the road or driveways, etc. But from a ride and...

    Change in Heating System?

I noticed when driving a loaner from Tesla upon a recent service appointment that the heat was almost non-existent. It was a cold, rainy day and when I turned the thermostat up all the way to 76, the heat did not go on. Now back in own 2015 S 85, with the weather getting colder, I'm noticing...

How much did your electric bill go up?

While rebates are still around, I would strongly suggest solar panels. After one year since having them installed I just received a credit for $150 from PSEG. So in essence, the cost was free driving. Solar and EV just go together.

    Spotify

I do like Slacker, often calling out a group or song with the idea of maybe finding other music. Then I'll make a mental note and follow up with Apple Music on my iPhone. Also, like others noted, Bluetooth my Apple Music via the iPhone to my car. I really like Apple Music better than my old...

Where the Autopilot Doesn't Work (List)

My 2015 S85 goes in fit AP activation on the 16th. Honestly I'm both excited and aprehensive. The notes made in this thread are really helpful. What instruction (live and document) is given at time of picking up an AP activated S? I see someone mentioned that Elon had already noted "no use"...

70D range vs 85 dealer says they are almost the same range

I recently moved up from a 60 to an 85, with the first idea of moving up to a 70D. I would say that the reply posts on this thread are on point. My range perspective is this: my 60 gave me 180 miles rated charge, with 200-209 fully charged. Time at a super charger is significantly longer than...

Tesla Model S 60 Sale Value

I just sold a S 60 with 16,000+ miles and fewer options than yours. Basically mine was standard S 60 with a panoramic roof, active air suspension, twin chargers and upgraded to supercharger configuration. I had ordered a new S 90 and not wanting to own two Tesla's, I was aggressive on price and...

    V7 - Apps not Displayed

Noting the comment from Flatfix911 I tried again pushing the selector switch and it worked. I'm not sure if I just didn't push it definitively before or if the apps popped up after a restart. In any case, the apps are appearing and are really cool. You are correct Duma, this is my second Model...

    PowerPack... for home! Why not?

I'm a bit late in reply to this thread, but it seems a good place for a question. I have both a Tesla MS 85 and solar panels, which I own. I live on Long Island in NY, PSEG my utility company. Currently my monthly electric bill is $12.00, which covers the 100 amps for my HPWC and 200 amps for...

    V7 - Apps not Displayed

Yea, there is no problem with the operation. I can still scroll through the apps as normal. Just that the updated ones noted as part of V7 are not there.

    V7 - Apps not Displayed

I've had my new Model S 85 for just about two weeks when V7 was downloaded. Reading the notes regarding the apps, it seems some are not displaying on my MS. Actually, the right section of apps, controlled by the thumb roll on the steering wheel remain the same. The clock, as well the other...
