I was resv 3130, considering the 40/60kWh and cancelled in October because (in order of significance): 1. needed a car by 12-31-12 2. wanted to use TSLA position to finance at least half of the cost 3. wife bitching 4. did not want upgraged air suspension 5. not thrilled with spartan interior...

I got cold feet couple weeks back before CREE reported, totally missed out on their 30% stock price increase. As far as I'm concerned TSLA has more forward-looking positives to report than CREE did. Yeah I know the market macro is probably a bit different now, but I'm ALL IN... go TSLA :biggrin:

Think the pano roof also adds a design feature +1, especially on white, maybe silver body cars. You might also consider a fashionable Tesla knit cap for those lovely Chicago winter days :tongue:, although the trend in Chicago certainly has been climate changed to the warm side

Heating via electric (motor) is definitely a big kWh drain. Would be a nice option to have front & back heated seats in climates which approach freezing, even though around these parts that's not happening much anymore.
