I haven’t seen one that fits skis but might be an option for a non skier. I think the roof option can take more weight than the hitch tho.

If you mean the ski rack hitch system, I looked at it but this is a lot more versatile for thing other than skis. I’d rather keep my stuff out of the elements and take the range hit. It’s manageable for me anyway.

384 wh/mi with a mix of highway and rural. Def over 400 on the highway at 75-80mph, didn’t see 450 but probably close. It was cold too. Worth it for the cargo tho!

i did nothing different on the 5mi trip to the mountain and I did ‘chill’ on the way back and it was better. Wasn’t til I got home and read up on it did I see the off road option. Will report back but looks like no snow in the forecast for a while.
