The white seats are a showstopper! I love them. They are synthetic but (was told by Tesla) that is better as it is not as porous as leather. There are a bunch of videos on Youtube showing people cleaning the white seats. I've already wiped some dirt smudges from kid boots and it wiped right off.

Yeah. I was kind of surprised too. I think I did the X-mas show March 31. FWIW, it was with 8.0 software. I haven't tried it with the 8.1. Maybe every X gets 1 free show. I'll give it a try this weekend again. It's loud.

Sort of. I actually didn't place the new order yet. I asked about what would happen with the $2500 deposit and they said it could be refunded. Rather than wait for that to happen, I asked them to just hold it (I'm nice that way). Not having the free-charge-pressure window and no super rush...

An update: I did call and cancel my "sc for life" deposit. It was extremely easy and cordial. More on that in a bit. Before starting this thread, I was on the irate side. I was planning how to work the system with some calculated complaining and/or trying to slip past an uninformed manager...

The more I am reading these replies and the threads here and here, the more I am thinking 100D is the one to go with. At least for me. I feel strangely at peace at the phone call I will be making tomorrow to cancel the deposit. Then there will be less time pressure as well. Somewhat related...
