Covid restrictions blocking Tesla Mobile Service in NB

If someone is talking with Cody, please tell him he should keep trying and talk to someone else. This department is immensely unorganized. As a dealer myself, I had to take a vehicle recently to NS (last week). It took submitting 3 different applications, talking to probably 5 or 6 different...

No more home delivery? Financing changes?

Just read this on a FB page- "Today, a Tesla advisor has informed me that their carrier direct program and policy has been updated. As of now, if you reside outside a province with a physical sales location, you need to pick up your vehicle at the service centre. (i.e. Quebec city)...

    Atlantic Canada Superchargers

I sent a note to plugshare as it has the Lincoln and Aulac superchargers marked as 120KW. I have witnessed both of these charging in the 130s. Either they have been upgraded to 150s or perhaps the first people testing them only had cars capable of taking 120? Not sure, either way, they are...

To Front Badge or To Not Front Badge

I took mine off but then decided the car looked a little to plain without it. There really isn't a tremendous amount of design details on this car, unpopular opinion but I find without them it looks a little generic... It's nice to have something to break it up. I powered coated my front logo...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Since I posted, I've seen a couple of people running 10.5 +25s or lower but they always seem to be cars with heavy suspension mods. One I talked to is running a 275 rear on a 10.5+25 and says it cleared fine. I believe them but looking at pictures, I just don't see how it's possible. I'd only be...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I'm 99% set on wheels. When it comes to the rear, I can get a 9.5 +35 or +25. 35 obviously is the safe bet but I'd like them as flush as possible without rubbing. 10mm is about 3/8". Thoughts? Anyone running a 9.5+35 rear and wish they had just a tiny bit more poke?

Can you use the stock Performance suspension on a Sleeper?

I've been thinking about doing this on my stealth but it would have to be a REALLY amazing deal, otherwise, I'd probably go aftermarket.

Garage Door Opener Options - pros and cons of various solutions

I'm using the Chamberlain "My Q" opener with an app on my android, I've had it for about six months now and I've had great luck with it. Maybe once or twice in those six months, it decided to go offline for some reason and wouldn't work but a minute later started working again. I'd recommend for...

    Supercharger - Woodstock, NB

Same generic response I received from him months ago when I complained. He said something would be done about it then. Hate to be a Negative Nancy but I wouldn't hold your breath. Sounds like he needs ANOTHER reminder that he is likely making more profit per EV customer than per ICE customer...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

    Keep us posted :)

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

Not to question your source but I'd tend to believe the Tech over what a service center rep said. I can't speak for Tesla specifically but in general, Advisors receive little technical training. It's a 50/50 shot whether the advisor you were talking to was basing his comments on actual training...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

Ok, so I connected with a Tesla Tech and pressed for as much information as I could on this. Firstly Tesla may consider replacing the cameras if there are water droplets inside but condensation only they will not replace under warranty. Similar to the taillights. Secondly, the B pillar...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Anyone done the stock 235/45r18 tires on a 9.5 inch wheel? Should be easily doable but I'm not finding much for pics. Most the wheels I like are 9.5 wide but I'm leaning towards keeping the stock 235s to maintain range and ride comfort.

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

By that theory, I would have to drive the exact same conditions every day under the same lighting but I don't. It doesn't matter if it's daytime or nighttime, foggy, sunny, cloudy, sleet, rain, snow. If it's not a perfectly dry 70+ degree day I get moisture on the passenger side camera lense...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

I'd tend to disagree because if that was the case I would have the fogging issue on both sides of my car and I don't, it's only one side (so far). I'm quite confident that like a headlight it has to be a sealed unit, once it is no longer sealed moisture can (and will) make its way inside to the...
