    Enhanced Autopilot is BACK!!

I just saw a story in Electrek that the upgrade from EAP to FSD will be $5k. In other words they’re dinging you $1k.

New Model X AP "highway" definition

My ‘20 X/LR autosteers very well on the roads you describe. Still a bit sluggish and too fast on the curviest and narrower roads. But wide roads with good markings -it’s fabulous. PS you will read about the “ping pong effect” e.g. constant minor over correction. Gone, since last spring. Now...

Limitations Of Speed Limit Sign Recognition

Took a brief spin after installing 2020.36.3.1 today, and was both pleased and disappointed. As hoped, the car now reads speed limit signs and sets that speed for Autopilot. As feared, the car does not read the “End of speed limit” signs commonly used in Vermont, where I live. Vermont has...

Previous X owners who upgraded to Raven Model X, are you still getting acceleration shudder?

What model do you have? They told me no axel replacement for Raven X’s, only earlier ones.

Previous X owners who upgraded to Raven Model X, are you still getting acceleration shudder?

What model do you have? They told me pre-Raven X’s would have axels replaced; not Ravens.

Previous X owners who upgraded to Raven Model X, are you still getting acceleration shudder?

Updating now as I confirmed this at a service visit in Latham NY 2 weeks ago: Tesla acknowledges that recent Raven Model X’s may develop a shudder on acceleration. They are trying to figure out why it’s happening and develop a permanent fix. They are unwilling to replace axels and bushings...

The shudder problem: Current status (end of February 2020)

Mine too, since maybe 9k miles. Now at 12K. I signed it up for a service appointment, but when I spoke with the tech (beforehand, luckily), he said they were aware of the issue, but had not figured out how to fix it yet. Can't tell if it's getting worse or not. I hve not tried it in Low or...

Model X does not recognize charge cable

Update: Took the J1772 adapter inside this AM and warmed it up, and Voila, it worked that time. No idea why cold would disable it, but there you go.

Model X does not recognize charge cable

Have been charging my new X/LR at home in Vt, on my 48AMP CCS charger (using J1772 adapter) since getting delivery 12/27. Today, at zero Fahrenheit, I got home, inserted the charge cable, and - nothing. The pale blue ring light went out, then no lights at all; phone app showed not connected...

    MX in NEK

Hello all, new Model X Long Range owner here (Jan ‘20), in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. It has been a journey getting to this point - I got inspired last June to get off fossil fuels; in my case heating oil and gasoline. Put in a solar array heat pumps, and car charger. Bought a Model 3...

    Raven Suspension Comfort vs Auto

I run on Comfort suspension, Auto height, Standard steering, 20” wheels, currently Scorpion snows but w/b all seasons in general. Standard pressure which for the snows is 45psi.

WON'T STOP CHARGING OR LET ME UNLOCK! :(

Me too all the time. Now what I do is to lower the charge limit on the app when I want it to stop charging. A crock but it works. I feel like we need some really good joke line for Tesla inconsistencies. Miles ahead of the competition but they are sure full of inconsistencies. I am so...

    Raven Suspension Comfort vs Auto

I just got my 2020 XLR. Def like Comfort best. I had to return the M3LR I bought last Sept because of the ride. There are still some types of bumps where I don't like the feel; the car shudders. But overall it's a great ride.
