If possible, I think it would be very beneficial to see up-close photos of the new construction technique used. Like the entire slab with the pedestals, etc. It almost looks like they can be placed on top of the blacktop making it look like a curb. Thx to anyone who can help out with this!

Not normal, talk to Tesla. Unless you drove behind a gravel truck for a few miles your hood should not look that bad.
