MASTER THREAD: Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, How to Maintain Battery Health

This is what I experienced as well. I further noticed that sentry mode is taking 4 mi/hr as opposed to 1. As soon as I drive the car the battery starts to go back up and taking a trip of 30 miles or more and the car only registers a 15 mile loss there. Something definitely seems off with this...

    2020.48.35.5 oddities

After 2020.48.35.5 installed on my car (2018 model 3 LR) I started noticing peculiar things happening with the battery and wanted to know if others are exhibiting the same thing I have changed no settings from the prior update to the new one. I did a hard reboot after the update installed. 1...

    Tesla API Token Generator

That is strange as I thought the app required 2FA as well not just the website. I will have to try your token generator script again as it was failing when I tried last time. I know teslafi requires the 2FA code in order for it to regenerate the token. Would assume the same for any token...

    Tesla API Token Generator

Thank you. That would be a great help for those of us who have enabled 2FA.

    Tesla API Token Generator

@HankLloydRight Out of curiosity does your script take into account 2FA?

How I Recovered Half of my Battery's Lost Capacity

I am doing as what SomeJoe7777 laid out. I do not plug in every day. I wait for the car to get down to different states of charge (be it 15% all the way up to 50%) and ensure it isnt plugged in so there is enough time for the BMS to capture this information be it 1-3 days between charges...

How I Recovered Half of my Battery's Lost Capacity

I have been following this thread and decided a couple of months ago to try this out as i have been seeing some decline in degradation (~3%). I have a M3 LR, Dec 2018. Over the past 2.5 months I have followed the "protocol" and instead of noticing any increase, I have been noticing a more...

    Realignment cost

Actually misheard. Service center wants around $160. Even that feels quite steep

Local service center quoted me $116. $305 is highway robbery.

    Pics of PPF wrap

Ah man. That must mean your installer did a great job. No bunched up areas at all on any curved section?

    Pics of PPF wrap

No lifting. Just a little dirt at edges. Once it gets warmer out I’m going to give the car a good wash and see how the doors look at the edges and if the dirt won’t free up. Over time I can see that could lead to the edges lifting but it seems very much adhere to the car.

    Pics of PPF wrap

Thanks @jkoya. Installer said it was template. In retrospect I should have told him to wrap the doors. Only thing wrapped is the hood. Also get dirt behind PPF at the door edges. Mostly comes off but still quite annoying and some stays. From afar no one can see but up close it’s not great...
