Ordered my MYP back in October. Picked it up in February. Never driven or even sat in any Tesla. First time was when I picked mine up. Love it and very happy with my decision. The one pedal driving was easy to adapt to for me. It takes a day or two to get used to but it is not hard to adjust to.

I think they do care about location. I am in New England and received All Season tires. Being in Virginia it would make sense that you would get summer tires since that is what would make sense for 95%+ of your driving.
