Honestly, GM should have taken that tech and put it into a sporty Cadilliac. Something that looks good with a little wow factor. even though it wouldn't sell as well as a model 3 it would be outselling the Bolt. Just my 2 pennies.

I dont think the model 3 range being close to the S or X is an issue. my understanding is that the model 3's tech will be inferior to the S/X. I dont see Range as the type of Tech he was talking about.

I would have to think its going to be closer to 70 for a fully loaded model3. I believe this for 2 reasons. one he stated he thinks the average price would be 42k and second Tesla will get blasted from media and consumers saying that it no longer makes it an affordable car like Tesla had been...

Personally I will more likely be Autoflexing the car every 2 years or so. For the people that dont konw what Autoflex is its a spray on peelable paint that looks and acts just like normal paint.

I have not read every post in this thread but it seems like most are not even adding in sales tax. I know in the state of FL tax is 6% and the last I saw tesla had a $1,200 delivery fee and maybe a $50 doc fee. You add all that up on just the base model 3 zero upgrades and you are paying...

I personally think the reason its just a sticker is because the front of the car is going to follow the same direction of the model X and the new model S front ends. If it stays the same then it will be do to the public demand for not changing the way the car looks.

Very sad... I do enjoy looking back at some of his fights.

I have owned a couple of GM cars and like them but i wouldn't spend the money that they are asking for the Bolt. to me the styling has to match the price point and so far i just don't see that.
