Well, either that, or enough market participants simply don't believe Tesla will generate enough cashflow in the future to justify a higher share price. The simplest explanation is often the right one.

Not to me. I know a little bit about how the financial markets work and most of what is written about "Wall Street" here seems simply based on misunderstandings about how the markets and their different actors work.

Sorry, what? It's "Wall Street's" fault if Musk has gambled his Tesla stock to buy a company which he bought at a material premium without caring about whether it was profitable, with a very unclear strategy and where he told major advertisers to f*** off? How?
